PDFpen Privacy Policy

Data collected

PDFpen does not require an account for core use.

The app processes PDF files that you explicitly select through the Android file picker or share menu.

The current version does not use advertising, third-party analytics or behavioral tracking data collection.

File processing

PDF documents are opened and edited on the user device.

Files created or changed by the app are saved to the storage location selected by the user.

PDFpen does not send your documents to us unless you explicitly choose to share them.

Permissions

The app may use Android system permissions and file picker flows to open, save or share PDF files.

Permissions are used only for PDF reading, editing and export features.

Third-party sharing

Personal data is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.

If a user sends a file to another app through the Android share menu, that action is initiated by the user and is governed by the destination app policies.

Children privacy

PDFpen does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

A parent or legal guardian may contact us if they believe data was processed by mistake.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when app features change.
